Hardly worth putting a title on this one.

Since arriving back at Beeston yesterday we've just sat and watched the weather, it's been strong winds, strong winds + rain, rain + strong winds and sometimes just rain. It doesn't inspire any enthusiasm. Eating out this evening, must stop all this gallivanting, Jill will be forgetting how to cook and that would be a sin as she is a true culinary wizard, her roasts have iconic status in the family and her cakes are supreme but alas a rarity these days as she tries to pare me down to athletic slimness.

I've given the camera a rest over the last couple of days so here's a picture of some ducks just to brighten the place up a bit.
Moving on tomorrow if the weather improves a bit.

Watch this space..........

Hi Graham,

This will make you laugh.... or cry.

We have not had a drop of rain here for at least a month. Just day after day of sunshine.
The garden looks like a straw field at the moment.

That's what comes of being on this little south east corner I suppose.

Hosepipe ban to look forward to soon.

Regards Chris.

At least they're not talking lock closures up here yet although the good old L & L is looking iffy.
Good to hear from you, at least a hosepipe ban saves on cleaning the car.
Take care, G. & J.
