Up and Down, with a touch of snow.

Well the last week has been spent retracing our steps to Norbury Junction for a service and to get the non-return valve on the toilet fixed, it had forgotten the non bit. We had a great weekend back at

the Anchor, Saturday night had two birthdays being celebrated, the pub was packed and with a jam session it was a brilliant night, felt a bit rocky next day so we took a walk up around High Offley to clear the cobwebs.

One day we'll find the church unlocked.

The manor house is superb, if a little run down.

The Wrekin can be seen, far off to the west, trust me, it is there.

Celandine, spring is here!

Well we thought it was, this morning at Norbury Junction it was back to winter, well it is the 1st of April.

This chap has taken up residence in Grubb Street cutting, yet another avian oddity, not a patch on the emu though. Today has been a day of firsts, our first wild primroses, our first aconites and, believe it or not, the first House Martin of the year, if it's got any sense it'll nip back to Africa. We are now back in Market Drayton and intend snugging down at Adderley for the weekend to avoid the Bank Holiday rush.
