A stranger on the line.

We have two places that we cannot avoid visiting whilst in Plymouth,

Route 38 American Diner at Trerulefoot, looks like the dreaded chip fries thief is about to strike.

And the South Devon Railway, which today was being operated by an engine that seems to have wandered far from home, one of the eleven 57xx class pannier tanks bought by London Transport.

L92 was originally 5786 and is owned by Worcester Locomotive Society and is now based at Buckfastleigh.

Off down to Sussex tomorrow to meet up with relatives who are over from Canada for a visit.
