Elizabeth and a touch of cross stitch.

Elizabeth, she's claimed to be the oldest conversion from a working boat to leisure use on the system.

The iron hull is believed to date back to the late 19thC. but she was converted with a full length cabin in 1936.

The conversion was carried out by Warren's Shipyard at New Holland. Re-bottomed in steel in 2002.
She is now moored in Middlewich.

And here is Jill's latest cross stitch masterpiece. I don't know where she gets the patience from but she's jolly good at it.
Off up the Cheshire Locks tomorrow.
