You can never get bored on a boat, just some of the things we saw today.

Still heading south. We left Cassiobury this morning, needing water we aimed for the water point above Cassio Bridge lock and having replenished our water supply we headed for Tescos at Batchworth.

There are some fascinating boats about but this one left us completely baffled. The only thought that comes to mind is, why?

 Would you describe this as the Noah's Ark style of boat building?

It certainly has plenty of character.
After stocking up from the convenient canal side Tescos we pushed on. The moorings are handy but they are rather awkward to use.

Below Stocker's Lock, beautiful old farm buildings and a bit further on, swinging on a derelict factory,

he was here last time we passed this way and that was five years ago. A durable monkey.
We have stopped not far below Springwell Lock for tonight.
