They are actually a cob and a gander and both are being aggressive and territorial. The gander's missis is sitting on 9 eggs in the planter between the gauging locks and the pen is quite a ways upstream. It's quite hilarious,birdwise at Brentford. Coots are seeing off tufted ducks.
